Brittany A. B. Sted, M.A., Licensed Mental Health Counselor MH13713 is a counselor based in Orlando, Florida. Her office location is conveniently located in downtown Orlando, at Uptown Orlando Counseling and Wellness.

Brittany received her Masters degree from the University of Central Florida in Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. During her graduate training, she gained clinical experience while working at UCF's Community Counseling Clinic, Winter Park Day Nursery, Lakeside Behavioral Healthcare, and The Healing Tree: Sexual Trauma Recovery Center. Brittany has additional post-graduate clinical experience with the Florida Safety Council, and Orange County Public Schools. 

Outside of her counseling practice, Brittany volunteers her services at the Zebra Coalition of The Center For Drug Free Living, which serves LGBTQ+ youth in the community. She is also a therapist at La Amistad Behavioral Health at the Adolescent Campus for Residential Treatment Program and Partial Hospitalization Program in Maitland, Florida. Brittany has received advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and has a special interest in working with clients who have experienced trauma. Brittany is a member of the American Counseling Association, Florida Counseling Association, and the EMDR International Association. 

In 2016, following the Orlando Pulse tragedy, Brittany co-founded a 501c3 nonprofit, The Dru Project, in honor of victim Christopher Leinonen, LMHC, to promote gay-straight alliances in local schools. Currently, Brittany serves a proactive role in the nonprofit as a board member and Treasurer. 

When she is not working as an advocate for her clients, Brittany enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, or spending time with her pets, friends, and family.
